Who we are

About Acolytes of Fire

A player-owned ARK: Survival Ascended community, built to last.

Our mission

We run a sustainable, high-quality PvE home for ARK: Survival Ascended players: a 16-map cluster you can travel across, fair rules that apply to everyone, and a community that helps new tribes get on their feet. Scheduled PvP events and maps are an occasional extra, never the default.

Everything you see on this site — live server status, rates, mods and rules — is read straight from the servers themselves, so what you see here is what is running.

Our story

The Chronicle of the Acolytes of Fire

Every tribe has a beginning. Ours began in another life, before the ARKs, and only one of us remembers it.

  1. Chapter I

    The Shadow of the Past

Long before the waking dream of the ARKs, in a forgotten land torn by war, a young man named Krahn was taken into the fanatical ranks of the Brotherhood of Nod: a brotherhood bound by faith and by the green glow of Tiberium, sworn against the Global Defense Initiative and to the will of its prophet, Kane. Rising through trial and conflict, Krahn became a formidable commander whose name was known on every front.

Kane saw his unwavering zeal. In a secret ceremony, the Prophet himself summoned Krahn and gave him a charge reserved for the most devoted: to lead the Acolytes of Fire, a clandestine, elite order of the chosen few who claimed to have heard The Spirit call. Fire was its symbol, they were its most extreme believers, and they answered to Kane alone.

Under Krahn's command the Acolytes won victory after victory on the most dangerous battlefields, until one fateful day Krahn finally lost a battle, and everything was taken from him, his life with it.

  2. Chapter II

    The Crucible and the Awakening

Death, however, was not the end. Krahn woke on a beach he did not know: the deadly, chaotic shores of The Center. He had been a commander, and now he was one man against the shore, with no army, no creed to lean on and no Kane to answer to. Alone, unequipped and overwhelmed by the primal wilderness, he fell to the environment, and the world went dark a second time.

He opened his eyes once more upon the beaches of The Island.

Haunted by the nightmares and the trauma of his past life, Krahn looked upon the brutal world of the ARK and felt a profound change of heart. He saw that the cold, destructive ways of his old life had served something evil, and he swore an oath to redeem himself and to forge a better future for everyone cast upon these shores. He discarded his former name and took a new one: P4LAD1N.

  3. Chapter III

The Seven and the Great Redwood Trek

He was not alone for long. Along the beaches of The Island, P4LAD1N met six fellow survivors pulled from different eras and different walks of life: Burlex, Travis, MeX, CYNRG, Schrodenger and Jwson. None of them knew how they had come to be there, and none of them knew the others; what they shared was an empty shore and the need to live through the night. P4LAD1N was the only one who remembered a life before the ARK, and in those first days someone had to lead.

Standing together at the water's edge, he gave them the name he had carried across death. The Acolytes of Fire were reformed on the sand of a world with no Nod and no Kane. None of them knew of his past, and the name was born anew: no longer a symbol of fanatical war, but a beacon of sanctuary, unity and hope. Their only creed was to keep one another alive.

Seeking a permanent refuge, the young tribe gathered its first beast companions, a Stegosaurus, a handful of Iguanodons and a gentle Diplodocus, and set out on a perilous migration toward the central Redwood forest. The journey was grueling and costly. Every single creature perished along the trek. But through sheer determination all seven survivors reached the shadow of the giant redwoods alive.

  4. Chapter IV

    The Rise of the Totems

Settling within the hazardous Redwoods, the Acolytes carved out a dominion alongside four legendary species that would forever be honored as the Four Totems.

The Argentavis, the First Light. After the tragic losses of the trek, almost everything the Acolytes tried to keep alive died or was killed. The Argentavis was the first creature to survive and thrive under their care. Through careful breeding, a fleet of them granted the tribe dominion of the sky, vital transport and renewed hope: the first sign that this place could be lived in.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Iron Shield. A massive wild Rex rampaged through the Redwood settlement and brought the tribe to the brink of total destruction. At great cost, and with heavy casualties, they knocked the beast down and tamed it. They brought a mate into the fold and bred a line of formidable Rexes, the watchdogs that guard their home from every threat. With the Argentavis above and the Rex below, predators learned to keep away, and the Acolytes stopped merely surviving and began to build.

The Dire Wolf, the Shadow of the Caves. On freezing reconnaissance flights over the northern tundra the tribe admired the striking red Dire Wolves, and thought no more of them. Then the Island's deadly, claustrophobic caves nearly took everything, and some barely made it out. It was then that P4LAD1N remembered the wolves. They returned to the bitter cold, tamed them and bred packs of powerful red Dire Wolves. With the pack at their side, and all its fierce instinct, the Acolytes conquered the subterranean trials and secured the mysterious Artifacts.

The Fire Wyvern, the Flame. The tale of the fourth has not yet been told.

  5. Chapter V

    The Spirit in the Flame

P4LAD1N was never fully at peace. Visions came to him, with the nightmares and the weight of what he had done in his first life. The old faith had not died when he did; it lingered at the back of his mind and spoke to him as The Spirit.

In time he began to see the same presence in the creatures his tribe had tamed. The bird that watched from the sky, the beast that guarded the gate and the wolves that hunted as one were not only animals to him. Each seemed to be a part of something that was speaking to him. The tribe called them the Four Totems, and he kept the old name for his tribe, but it no longer meant what it had under Kane. It stopped meaning devotion to conquest and began to mean devotion to the people around the fire.

  6. Chapter VI

    The Veil of Peace

For many seasons the Acolytes of Fire endured the unyielding hardships of a harsh and unforgiving world, where ruthless wars and constant conflict threatened to consume everything they had built. They had survived the Center, the winters, the caves and the Rex. They knew what it was to carry a flame through the dark.

Yet, as their legend reached its peak, a shimmering rift opened upon the horizon. Beyond its radiant light lay the promise of an untouched realm: a land where the endless bloodshed ceased, replaced by tranquil skies, abundant lands, and the freedom to forge a lasting sanctuary.

The Acolytes looked at one another, and at the Totems beside them. Leaving the old world behind, P4LAD1N and his tribe stepped through the threshold into a peaceful new era, ready to write the next chapter of their saga.

    To be continued.
